Remo D'Souza and wife Lizelle strongly deny allegations of cheating dance troupe for Rs 11.96 crore: 'I am only linked because I knew them through my show'

Choreographer and director Remo D’Souza and his wife Lizelle D’Souza have been accused of cheating a dance troupe. The couple, however, has strongly denied the accusations, stating that their names are being dragged into the controversy without any factual basis.
In a press conference on Monday, Remo expressed his disappointment, clarifying their non-involvement. “I feel very sad as there is no connection of me and Lizelle with this Rs 11.96 crore fraud case.Neither does it involve Remo D’Souza Entertainment Private Limited. Unfortunately, our names are being linked to this fraud by the media without knowing the proper facts,” he stated.
Remo elaborated on the issue, explaining that the controversy stems from the well-known dance troupe V Unbeatable, who had previously competed on his show Dance Plus Season 4 and later gained global recognition by winning America’s Got Talent. According to him, after internal disputes split the group, allegations started to fly, with one faction accusing the other. “This entire case is linked to them, and we have no involvement. I am only linked because I knew them through my show,” he explained.
He also confirmed his previous collaboration with V Unbeatable, sharing that he had planned to make a film about the group. “I signed an agreement with them and have given them money,” he added.

He urged people not to spread misinformation and confirmed that they would fully cooperate with the authorities. “We shall put our case forward in due time and will continue to cooperate with the authorities in every way possible like we have done so far,” the statement read, thanking fans and supporters for their love and encouragement.
