Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa 2’ is one of the most anticipated movies of all times. The buzz around the first part still continues to remain so strong that fans have been waiting with baited breath for the second installment. That excitement and euphoria is seen in the advance bookings of the movie. ‘Pushpa 2’ will record the highest advances for a film ever and not just as an overall total in all languages but also in Hindi.
The film has already crossed Rs 100 crore in advance booking from all over India in all languages. According to Sacnilk, the movie is releasing in approximately 40,000 shows in India, thus making it the widest release in cinematic history. Not to mention, the advance booking figure will easily cross Rs 105-110 crore which is the highest for any movie. Even the Hindi version of the film may emerge to be the highest ever advance day booking and is expected to beat the record of ‘Jawan’ which is about Rs 28 crore in the advance booking.
With these early projections coming in, ‘Pushpa 2’ is expected to have a worldwide gross of around Rs 250 crore on its first day which is a milestone for any Indian movie. With ‘Pushpa 2’, the window between theatrical to OTT release of the Hindi dubbed south movie has also increased. This will further help the movie in continuing to garner numbers if it has positive word of mouth and manages to lure the crowd over the coming days.
