There may have been a time when Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan could not stand being in the same space together, but lucky for all their fans, that time is behind them.
The former flames and co-stars sent the internet into a meltdown when they reunited at an event in Jaipur. Much to the delight of their fans, the two were seen chatting away on-stage, making fans go gaga all over again. While their unexpected interaction may have come as a happy surprise for fans, the ‘Udta Punjab’ actors had another reaction all together.
Speaking to the media on the carpet, Shahid addressed his reunion with Bebo and said ‘”I’s totally normal for us.” The actor said, “For us, it’s nothing new…aaj stage pe mile aur hum log idhar udhar milte rehte hai.”
He went on to add, “…if people felt nice, it’s nice.”
Besides making waves for their highly publicised romance, Kareena and Shahid worked together in several films, including ‘Fida’, ‘Chup Chup Ke’, and ‘Jab We Met‘. Their on-screen chemistry made them a fan favourites. However, the two parted ways after working together in ‘Jab We Met’ and reunited years later in the film ‘Udta Punjab’.
Kareena and Shahid’s paths often cross as their kids attend the same school. Kareena and Saif Ali Khan‘s sons Taimur and Jeh study in the same school as Shahid and Mira Kapoor’s kids Misha and Zain. They were most recently spotted attending their kids’ annual day celebration, where Taimur was spotted participating in the play. Other star kids also sharing the stage included Aaradhya Bachchan and AbRam Khan.
