Rashmika Mandanna calls Vijay Deverakonda a ‘Rocket’

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Devrakonda have done multiple films together like Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade and since then two of them share a very close friendship. In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Rashmika opened up how he took Vijay’s help when she was stuck during the Jathra scene in Pushap 2- The Rule. She said “ When I got the scene, I didn’t know what to do or how to go about it, so I spoke to Vijay. That’s the only scene I spoke to him about, saying I don’t know where to start, and he gave me a perspective, which was quite interesting, and, of course, what happened on set was all Sukumar sir and Allu Arjun sir, but, he’s been a constant help, and I’m really grateful.”

Rashmika also opened up about what she likes and dislikes about Vijay in an interview with Neha Dhupia. She stated She mentioned that one of the greatest things about their friendship was that both of them came from middle-class families. This similarity, she explained, had shaped their perspectives in a way that made their connection natural and effortless. She appreciated that their way of thinking was alike, adding that it made things feel real and easy between them.
However, when asked about the downside of being friends with Vijay, Rashmika admitted that he was always too serious. She explained that he was extremely focused on work,and never slowed down and compared him to a “rocket”.
Rashmika recently became the only actress to deliver three Rs 500 crore hits back to back from Animal where she was paired opposite Ranbir Kapoor to Pushpa 2 -The Rule where she shared screen space with Allu Arjun and now with Vicky Kaushal led Chhaava. She will be next seen in Thama with Ayushmann Khurrana, it is the next installment of Dinesh Vijan’s expanding horror-comedy universe.
