From his friends to fans, to industry colleagues, everyone is expressing their sorrow through kind words and memories shared with the late artist.
Singer Camila Cabello has also expressed her grief through an emotional note as she mourns his demise.Camila and Liam had a special bond since both of them got their big break in the music industry from The X Factor. They met at a very young age and became friends.
“Thank you Liam for all the joy you brought my friends and I. It really made an impression on me as a young girl to meet a member of a group I loved and have him be so kind. It’s a tragedy to have him gone way too soon,” she wrote.
Earlier industry figures like Charlie Puth, Rita Ora, Backstreet Boys, Ty Dolla Sign, and more also took to their social media handles to pen a tribute for the late artist. Further, a joint statement was shared on the official ‘One Direction’ account that read Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson will take some time to “grieve and process the loss of our brother.” Later all these musicians took to their individual accounts to pay their respects.
On Wednesday, Liam Payne passed away after reportedly falling from the third floor of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Police report states he was found dead on the spot owing to severe injuries caused by the fall. His mortal remains were sent for autopsy. On Thursday, The National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office confirmed “polytrauma” and “internal and external hemorrhage” as the reason for his death.
Meanwhile, the authorities are investigating the matter as reportedly there is a possible case of substance abuse.
