Congratulations are in order for Hollywood star Margot Robbie and her husband, Tom Ackerley, who welcomed their first child together.
The ‘Barbie’ actress, and her husband are now proud parents to a baby boy, PEOPLE confirmed. However, details such as the newborn’s name and birthdate remain under wraps.
Daily Mail reported that Robbie went into labour two weeks ago, shortly before her due date. Her baby was born on October 17, according to the portal. Both mother and baby are reportedly well.Robbie, known for her standout roles in films like ‘I, Tonya’ and ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’, made headlines earlier this year when news broke of her pregnancy. In July, she was spotted attending Wimbledon with Ackerley, where she debuted her baby bump.
Since her Wimbledon appearance, Robbie has had no qualms showing off her baby bump in several chic maternity outfits, while babymooning in exotic locations.
This is the first child for both Robbie and Ackerley, who began dating back in 2013 on the set of the WWII drama ‘Suite Française’, where Ackerley served as an assistant director. The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in Australia three years later.
With the baby’s arrival, Robbie is expected to take a break from filming projects to focus on her family. She will, however, continue working on her other production ventures.
