Allu Arjun has been in the spotlight after a tragic incident linked to him led to a woman’s death, while her child remains critical. Although riding high on the success of Pushpa 2: The Rise, he was arrested earlier but released on interim bail. A Telangana CM accused him of being unaffected by the tragedy, claiming he saw it as beneficial for his film’s success. Allu Arjun later held a press conference to share his side of the story.
Addressing the press, Allu Arjun expressed feeling humiliated, stating that he was being unfairly judged. He questioned how people who have known him for 20 years could believe such accusations. He shared that he has avoided public events for 15 days and hasn’t even watched his latest film, despite working on it for three years.
The actor also shared that he has been consoling himself over the past 15 days, reflecting on the unfortunate incident and emphasizing that he wasn’t directly involved. He expressed his regret and extended a heartfelt apology for the tragedy.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy claimed that Allu Arjun was advised not to attend the screening. Despite police warnings, the actor chose to show up at the event.
In the Telangana Assembly, Akbaruddin Owaisi made a shocking claim about Allu Arjun, without mentioning his name directly. He alleged that upon hearing about the stampede and a person’s death, the actor reportedly said, “Now the movie will be a hit.” Owaisi further stated that despite the incident, Allu Arjun attended the screening, watched the film, and waved to fans from his car without showing concern for the victims or their families. He also highlighted that, unlike the actor, he ensures no stampede-like incidents happen during his public meetings.
