Allu Arjun claims people posing as fans are 'misrepresenting' him with fake IDs; urges followers to stay calm amid new allegations in Pushpa 2 stampede
Following a premiere stampede incident at the Pushpa 2 screening, Allu Arjun urged fans to remain calm and avoid abusive behavior online and offline. He denied accusations made by Telangana CM Revanth Reddy regarding his response to the fan’s death and clarified he learned about it later. Police and Arjun offered conflicting accounts of the event’s approval process.

Allu Arjun shared a new statement on Sunday following his press conference on Saturday evening. He asked his fans not to engage in any bad behavior. This comes after Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made fresh accusations about what happened during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre. The actor urged his fans to stay calm.
On Sunday, Arjun released a new note on X (formerly Twitter) that read, “I appeal to all my fans to express their feelings responsibly, as always and not resort to any kind of abusive language or behavior both online and offline.” He also warned people ‘misrepresenting’ his fans with ‘fake IDs’ that stern action will be taken against them if they indulge in such behaviour, writing, “Misrepresenting as my fans with fake IDs and fake profiles, if someone indulges in abusive posts, strong action will be taken against them. I request the fans not to engage with such posts.”

This comes a day after CM Revanth and MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi discussed the Pushpa 2 premiere stampede case in the Telangana assembly. Akbaruddin claimed that Allu Arjun said “the film will be a hit” when he was told about the death of a fan, while Revanth stated that the police informed him of the death while he was at the theatre. Arjun, however, insists that he only learned about the incident the day after the premiere on December 4. ACP Vishnumurthy Sabbathi also held a press conference, cautioning Arjun against blaming the police, despite the actor asserting that he blames no one for the incident.

On December 4, Allu Arjun attended the premiere of his film Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad with his family and co-star Rashmika Mandanna. He left the event before it ended after his management informed him that the crowd was becoming uncontrollable. The visit led to a stampede, which caused the death of a woman and left her young son critically injured. While the police claim they did not approve of Arjun’s visit, the actor maintains that it was the theatre management that had requested his presence.
