All eyes are on the 97th annual Academy Awards. The prestigious awards ceremony will take place in Los Angeles at the Dolby Theatre on March 2.
Although the nominations were set to take place on January 17, the ravaging wildfires in Los Angeles shifted the date to today (January 23).
Some Hollywood projects that are being speculated to fall on the nomination list include Demi Moore’s The Substance, Gloden Globe winner The Brutalist and Emilia Perez.

Swatantrya Veer Savarkar

Putul
This Bengali-language film directed and produced by Indira Dhar was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. It is the first Bengali film to achieve this feat.

Shahana Goswami portrays the role of a widow who takes the job of a police constable after her husband does. It is set against the backdrop of rural north India.
